Dear Families,
It has been another very full and busy week here at Lumen Christi. We finished off our Swimming Program for 2023 last week and yesterday, celebrated both our whole school fun day and the Grade 6 Shopping Trip and Lunch in Morwell.
We are continuing to work hard on preparing for our concert which is in just over a week’s time. Please remember to fill in permission slips on PAM for the whole school practice next Tuesday and to ensure teachers know who is collecting your child on the night of the performance. There has been a note go home about this, please see your child’s teacher if you didn’t receive this.
This week we have our end of year mass and and Nativity Play. Mass starts at 9am in the church and all are invited to attend. I haven’t seen the Nativity play yet, I hear it is a beautiful tradition presented by our Foundation, Years 1 and 2 students.
We also have our Bethlehem Bazaar which is a fantastic annual fundraiser for Vinnies. Children can come dressed in Costume on this day and bring lots of coins to spend on the stalls prepared by our grade 5/6 children.
An Advent Prayer
In Cities and Towns
In Palaces and Paddocks
In High Streets and Back Streets
Ion the vastness of the Universe
In the intimacy of our hearts,
CHRIST IS WAITING TO BE BORN.
Come Lord Jesus,
Come into our homes,
Come into our lives,
Come and Stay.
Amen
Have a wonderful week ahead,
Sally
Please take note of these dates for your family calendar

Dear Families,
End of year reports will be made available in the last week of school.
In the past families have received a printed report, but these will now be available online through the PAM app.
If you do not have PAM, please see Janelle in the office who is more than willing to help parents set this up.
Those families wishing to receive a printed report, please see your child's teacher and we can arrange for the report to be printed off.
All schools are starting to move to an online reporting platform, we thank parents for their flexibility and understanding.
