Dear Families,
Welcome back to school and welcome back to Term 2.
We have already started with a BANG! We had footy clinics last week and Life Ed visiting this week. Next week, we hopefully have two teams representing our school in the Soccer competition with the other schools in our area. We wish our students well and we know that they will represent our school with Respect, Responsibility and Resilience.
Last Tuesday, some of our school leaders attended the ANZAC Day service in Churchill. I was extremely proud of all of the speeches that they prepared on the day about what ANZAC Day meant to them. They were all very thoughtful and meaningful speeches which showed great maturity in thought about the significance of the occasion and the great sacrifice our ANZACs made throughout many wars and conflicts that have contributed to the wonderful way of life that we enjoy in this beautiful country of ours.
Next Week we have our Mother’s Day Breakfast and Mass as well as our Mother’s Day Stall all happening on Thursday.
Enrolments are open for 2024, so if you know of any families who are considering schools for their children, please encourage them to come and do a tour of our wonderful school. Tours are offered by appointment by phoning the school office on: 5122 2231
A Prayer for ANZACs
God of love and liberty, we bring our thanks for the peace and security we enjoy, which was won for us through the courage and devotion of those who gave their lives in time of war. We pray that their labour and sacrifice may not be in vain, but that their spirit may live on in us and in generations to come.
Have a wonderful week ahead,
Sally

Thank You Tubby's Timber & Tree Services
Families may have noticed that we have had a number of trees removed from the school site over the holidays.
We would like to take the time to thank Luke Robinson from Tubby's Timber and Tree Services who has just done an amazing job and who has been extremely generous to us with his time going above and beyond with his service.
The school is looking amazing and is also a much safer environment for our children to play.
Thank you Luke - from all of us at Lumen Christi.
