Dear Families,
Thank you for another wonderful term at Lumen Christi. It’s been a busy term with lots of exciting things that have happened.
Teachers have been very busy with assessments so that they can write school reports for the end of the first semester.
These will be released on PAM on Wednesday or Thursday and we will let families know when they can be accessed. Any families who are not on PAM can request a printed copy. Please ask your child’s teacher or come into the office and we will be happy to help you.
Parent Teacher Interviews will be held next term on the 14th and 15th of August. Parents are always welcome to make an appointment to see teachers should they wish to discuss their child’s learning and growth, but Parent Teacher Interviews are a formal opportunity for parents to meet with teachers. Any questions about reports can certainly be addressed at these meetings.
I want to thank our teachers for the hard work that has gone into the reports. It is a very important part of what we do at school, but I do want to acknowledge the hours of time that goes into these.
To all of our children and staff, we wish everyone a safe and relaxing break over the holidays. For our families who are staying home, I hope that everyone stays warm and that you enjoy a quiet two weeks. For our families who are heading away, we hope that you have a wonderful time and that you travel safely.
Remember:
School finishes this FRIDAY 28th June at 12:30pm
We start Term 3 on MONDAY 15th July.
See you all after the break.
Sally

We will provide all they need. it's a two day workshop, at the Bruce Armstrong Bandroom in Warragul: instructors are Beth Morgan (GSO) Emma Nicholson (WMB) and Niels Bijl Our aim is to provide easy access to instruments for all kids, and we would appreciate it if you could find a way to promote this in your school. Gippsland Performing Arts Centre Holiday Program
The Gippsland Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) have programmed two children’s workshops over the Winters Schools Holidays which are great for all kids, but especially helpful for young children who have anxiety, or need some scaffolding to help express themselves fully. They are also wonderful at helping to develop social skills and cooperation.
Tickets are only $5, but if any family needs assistance – they could reach out to me directly.
