To the Lumen Christi School and Parish Community,

It is with great emotion that I share with you the news that I will be moving to the position of Principal of St.Vincent’s Primary School Morwell in 2022. Since arriving at Lumen Christi in 2013 I have felt nothing but joy being part of this terrific community.  Driving to work each day fills me with excitement and I often wonder what it would be like to be in a workplace that you didn’t enjoy.

When I took on this principal position six years ago I was so proud to be the seventh principal of Lumen Christi but I always knew that eventually there would be an eighth.  With this in mind I have always had the mindset that when I left that I would hope to be able to identify developments or simple moments where I could say I had had a positive impact on the community or in the hearts and minds of individuals.

So with a really heavy heart I have decided to bid farewell to Churchill to pursue this opportunity. I look forward to sharing the next six months with the wonderful children, staff, families and parishioners of Lumen Christi.

Information about the appointment of Number 8 falls into the responsibility of DOSCEL who will be communicating with families to officially announce my appointment to Morwell, as well as the process to appoint the new principal to begin in 2022.
