Dear Families,

A reminder to all families that we have a Pupil Free Day this Friday. Teachers will be on site doing some Professional Learning on this day, but there is no school for pupils.

Last week, we took children to Yinnar to play in the District Footy and Netball competition. Our children as always represented the school well. I believe both teams came third – a huge thanks to Mr Watson, Mr Mahoney, Miss Watson and Sarah Birch for looking after our kids on the day.

This week we have both our boys’ and girls’ teams heading to Traralgon for Soccer. We wish them all well and thanks again Mr Watson, Miss Watson, Sarah Birch and Stephen Breheny for looking after the teams on the day. Good luck team Lumen Christi!!

We have a number of children celebrating the sacrament of Confirmation next Thursday night at Sacred Heart Church in Morwell. It’s an important night for these children and their families and we are looking forward to celebrating with them on the night.

This Sunday in the church was “Trinity Sunday” – where we contemplate the mystery of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In Catholic communities we believe that the holy Trinity is “one God and three persons” and that God is in relationship with us as His community.

And we are a wonderful community here at Lumen Christi!
